Hosted by: Daunté “Nabi” Fyall (USA) – Professor of West African Dance Culture at UC San Diego, Founder of DAANSEKOU Cultural Arts & Wellness Collective.
This intensive is a rare opportunity to study directly with living legends of the tradition. Daunté will be in the teaching circle alongside the Masters, continuing the sacred lineage he received as a teenager walking in off the street at Kankouran West African Dance Company.
Experience authentic rhythms, powerful movement, village wisdom, and deep cultural connection. Open to dancers of all levels who approach with humility, respect, and an open heart.

Every Saturday until June 27thIn partnership with LA Commons, Daunte Fyall of DAANSEKOU will be teaching West African Dance every Saturday, leading up to the Day of the Ancestors: Festival of Masks at the Leimert Park Art Walk!
